Clothesline®
Giving is Always in Style
Thank you for another tremendous Clothesline® spring campaign. With your generosity, “What’s in your Closet?” collected 10 million kilograms of reusable clothing and household items!
In the event that you missed spring cleaning, summer is the perfect opportunity to make room in your closet and donate your reusable clothing and household items to the Canadian Diabetes Association’s Clothesline® program.
Clothesline® donors can call 1-800-505-5525 to schedule a free pick-up and donate right from the convenience of their home. Clothesline® also accepts shoes, boots, books, toys, kitchenware and much more! Another convenient way to donate reusable clothing is to visit diabetes.ca/dropbox to find a Clothesline® donation box closest to you.
When you donate to Clothesline® you help the more than 3 million Canadians living with diabetes and the environment. Last year, Clothesline® diverted more than 41 million kilograms of clothing and household items from our landfills. This translates into a savings of 766 million kWh of energy while reducing the carbon footprint of our donors by 105 million kilograms of CO2 emissions.
Please watch for the Clothesline® fall campaign this September!
