Location: Camp Banting 2010 will take place this year at the facilities of the Bonnenfant Y Outdoor Centre on the Ottawa River in Dunrobin, Ontario.
Dates: The two-week camping session will begin Monday, August 9 th and end on Saturday, August 21st 2010.
Campers’ Age Range: 8 - 15 year olds
Fees: $1,200/session. Subsidies may be available from the Canadian Diabetes Association for families that require financial assistance upon request.
About Camp Banting: Camp Banting offers a fun-filled adventure for campers with opportunities to learn new skills as well as gain self-confidence in the management of type 1 diabetes while fostering independence. This unique experience is guided by quality medical, dietary and program supervision.
