PLEASE NOTE IMPORTANT CHANGES TO CAMP SESSIONS
Location: Lion Max Simms Camp, Bishop’s Falls, NL
Dates: July 18 - 23, 2010 (ages 13-16 yrs)
July 25 - 30, 2010 (ages 9-12 yrs)
Registration Fees
Registration fee: $200.00 per camper.
Camp Focus: Education, self-management, self-esteem building, camping experience, fun.
Program Staff: Program Director (Camp Committee Volunteer) manages programming for both camps, with assistance from twelve camp counselors and other senior camp staff.
Physician: Pediatric Resident attends each camp, Endocrinologist on call 24/7, hospital emergency less than one-half hour away.
Camp Nurses: Two Registered Nurses, at least one Certified Diabetes Educator certified nurse available at all times plus nursing student and/or Licensed Practical Nurse.
Nutrition Staff: Registered dietitian and dietitian’s assistant.
