About Camp
This season will take place from at B’nai Brith Camp in the Lake of the Woods. Campers will take part in activities that inspire personal growth, team building and appreciation of the outdoors. While at Camp Briardale campers can enjoy various activities including swimming, water trampoline, the Iceberg, the climbing wall, the ropes course, camp fires and the zip-line to name a few. Camp Briardale encourages and supports children with type 1 diabetes to become independent in their diabetes regime while having fun in a safe and supportive environment.
Campers are transported by highway coach buses to and from Camp Briardale. Parents drop off and pick up campers at a pre-determined location. More details are provided following the registration process.
On-line applications will be available in late January 2010. Along with application details, ask about the Campership financial assistance program that makes the camp program accessible to all.
